Flipped Out Phil (contributor of some groovy character talkover spots on the Friendly Persuasion show) has launced his new website!

Check out Flipped Out Phil’s Subterranean Jungle,

Subterranean Jungle was a rock ‘n’ roll radio show that aired on CKUT-FM in Montreal between 1985 and 1999! On Flipped Out’s Mad Musical Menu: Swingin’ Sixties Soul, Surf & Spy Flick Music, Carnaby Street British Beat, Mod R’N'B & Psych, and a whole heapin’ helpin’ of gritty garage-rock action from the sixties right up to the late nineties!

Four shows have been posted (from the mid-1990s) with more to come in the future,

Groovy Graphical Layout was by Sophie Cossette. You can read more about Sophie here (see the cover illustration she did for Girls in the Garage Volume 10 vinyl LP) and here (she did a number of posters for my better half, Mimi la twisteuse’s monthly DJ night Zoi Zoi a few years back).
